About AMV 2026
Executive summary
The health and economic impact force us to stop and reassess our strategies for mosquito and vector-borne disease control. As we move into the next phase of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) era, it is important to share and reflect on how countries reimagine vector control surveillance and control by innovations and new areas of understanding and alliances. In collaboration with Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand and the Thailand Pest Management Association (TPMA) as co-organizations, Prof. Theeraphap Chareonviriyaphap from Kasetsart University, is planning to host the second Asia Pacific Conference on Mosquito and Vector Control (AMV) held in Pattaya city between 5-7 August 2026. The conference aims to strengthen the Asia-Pacific regional mosquito and vector control capacity and network and review new technologies, AI for mosquito control, and approaches to address the rapidly changing landscape for mosquito control in the region. We are expecting 800-1000 participants from Asia Pacific and other regions to join the conference.
